Rob Taylor was born and raised in Canton, North Carolina. He accepted the call to ministry at the age of seventeen. After graduating high school he attended East Coast Bible College and received his Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Lee University. Rob chose Wesley Seminary for his Masters of Arts in Leadership.

Bishop Taylor has a breadth of ministerial experience, having served as a youth/children’s pastor, missions pastor/church planter, senior pastor, district overseer, State USA Missions Director, and State Youth and Discipleship Director. He has also served on numerous boards and committees and is a sought-after speaker. Currently, he is serving the Hawaii Church of God as Administrative Bishop. Bishop Taylor counts as his greatest blessings being married to the beautiful, talented, and anointed wife, Candie, being a father to two sons, Evan and Jordan, and father-in-law to Alexandra.

 

Candie Taylor is a native of Danville, Virginia. She has dedicated her life to serving God in many capacities. After graduating from high school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Leo University. Also, she has earned a Masters in Science Education – Biology, through Western Governors University.

She has taught in both Christian and public schools, as well as served on numerous boards and committees within the realm of education and in the church. She is a warm, humorous, and talented speaker. She currently serves as State Women’s Ministries Director and carries out multiple duties in the office for Hawaii Church of God. She is married to Rob Taylor and is the proud mother of two sons, Evan and Jordan. She is mother-in-love to a beautiful daughter, Alexandra.
